When was the last time you allowed yourself to exhale, unwind, and feel truly at peace? When did you last explore the world, and in turn, find yourself?

From April 26 – May 3, 2021, join Jenn of Rise Up Sisterhood on your trip of a lifetime. Escape your routine and feed your soul with inner reflection, mindful movement, and deep connection with like-minded soul sisters (and maybe a glass of wine or two).

Come for the good vibes. Return home with a renewed sense of rejuvenation, purpose and self-love.

Feel energy flow through your body with every step taken over the hallowed grounds of Peru. Your seven-day journey begins in the aptly named Sacred Valley with a taste of local food, before a stand-up paddleboard takes you across pristine waters surrounded by towering Andean peaks.

Each day has the chance for new discoveries with available yoga sessions, a hot springs visit, and the option to do the 1-day Inca Trail Hike.

Finally, you can bask in the awe-inspiring beauty of Machu Picchu through an intentionally paced tour. As you absorb the mysterious power of these ancient ruins, you’ll head home with a renewed lift in your step.

Your Trip of a Lifetime.

For 8 days, we will explore the Sacred Valley area of Peru and have the opportunity to stay in 3 amazing locations along the way.

We will stay in 3 separate locations during this trip, surrounded by the Andes Mountains. We’ll start and finish our trip 11,500′ above see level in the historical town of Cusco, spending nights within the heart of the Sacred Valley as well as awe-inducing Machu Picchu along the way.

In each city we stop, our accommodations are small, beautiful hotels surrounded by stunning scenery and architecture. You will share a room with another sweet soul along for the adventure. Private Rooms available upon request. Please email for pricing.

Throughout this journey, we will do sunrise yoga, meditate in the jaw dropping beauty of our surroundings, paddleboard, hike through the valley and see the 7th Wonder of the World. We will also visit and support local businesses and communities through the entire trip.

What Makes This Trip Extra Special?

Adventuring around Peru with a group of phenomenal women feels like more than enough, but something unique about this trip that we are inherently proud of is that this retreat has been created 100% by utilizing local Peruvian businesses and services for all activities and accommodations.

We also will have the opportunity to visit the Ccaccaccollo Community and Women’s Weaving Co-op. Travel through the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting a women’s weaving co-op. Meet the women and learn about traditional weaving and dyeing. Opt to pick up some handmade souvenirs and textiles directly from the women who made them.

Women supporting women.

Optional 1 Day Inca Trail Hike

11km to heaven

As an optional add-on to this profound retreat, we have the opportunity to choose spend a day hiking the Inca Trail. The trail rises steeply up into the mountains and will take hikers past the archaeological sites of Wiñay Wayna and Inti Pata, where our local guide will provide insights into the fascinating culture of the Incas en route to the trek’s culmination at the Sun Gate. Enjoy a packed lunch along the way and reach the Sun Gate in the late afternoon with a chance for a preliminary exploration of Machu Picchu before our guided tour on the following day. Transfer by bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to rejoin any women who opted out of the hike and spend the night in a hotel. If time permits, take an optional visit to the nearby hot springs to soak your sore muscles.

Approximate Distance: 11 km
Estimated hiking Time: 5-6 hours

The cost of the Inca Trail Hike Permit is $475 and must be purchased by September 1, 2020.

Please note: whether you choose to complete the Inca Trail hike, or you opt-out, you will still see Machu Picchu. You will arrive by train and receive a guided tour. This hike is optional! On the day of the hike, you will spend your time at the hot springs, with hikers and non-hikers meeting up again at the end of the day.

Who will I room with?

Bring a friend(s) and you can request to be in the same room together. Coming alone? No worries, many of you won’t know each other, yet! Rest assured, you will make deep connections and will love the energy that comes with travelling with a group of soulful women.

What should I pack?

A detailed packing list will be emailed to you once you register!

Should I get travel insurance?

The short answer is YES. In fact, in order to attend this retreat, travel insurance is mandatory.

A retreat is an investment in your well-being—but it’s also a financial investment. No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling, but unexpected life events do occur.

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing your own travel/trip cancellation insurance so your trip fees will be covered in case you have to cancel your retreat. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses, in the event you have an accident while on the retreat.

We recommend purchasing your insurance through Ariane Henry of Laurier Du Vallon Travel as she knows exactly what you need.

What if my retreat is cancelled?

We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to Rise Up Sisterhood will be refunded.

Notification of cancellation will occur at least 90 days prior to your retreat start date. Rise Up Sisterhood cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
